Beaches Cornwall
Some of the best beaches to be found can be found in Cornwall. From the really quite ones which are usually more difficult to get to the the more popular town beaches which are usually busier. A couple of examples out of many are below.
Perranporth Beach

Perranporth Beach one of Cornwall's most popular beaches with 3 miles of golden sandy beach, except high tide, when Perransands is available via a fairly short cliff walk going from Perranporth to Perransands with a car park right on the beach and other cars parks close by. Shopping with a verity of local shops, restaurants, bars and cash points available surf hire on the beach and even a bar right on the beach see www.the-wateringhole.co.uk and many plenty more bars and restaurants close by.

Polly Joke Beach

Pollyjoke Beach one of those quiter beaches that are not so well known. It does have a car park with only a very short walk to the beach, but if you do not know it you would probably not find it.

Directions.

From Newquay head towards Crantock.  Go straight through Crantock on the way to West Pentire.  Just as you leave Crantock turn left it will be labelled Treago caravan & camping.  Go down lane for 0.3 of a mile until you get to a gate at the end of the lane, there will be no markings on the gate.  Go through gate (making sure you close it behind you please) and drive down rough track for 0.4 of a mile and at the end will come to a small parking area run by the National Trust. About five minutes walk from car park to the beach.

There is a camp site just before the track to the beach and another as you go down the track to the car park.

Loe Beach
Loe beach is not a big sandy beach but does have a very good water sports centre a small cafe and a place to launch your boat from and the lights in the picture below that you can see is the entrance way into Falmouth harbour. To see details on the water sports centre go to
